She's 13 Months Already!

Loves water play

This past month our Leilah Sue:

• Loved things around her neck: necklaces, shirts, pants, stethoscopes, vacuum cords etc. It’s adorable and a little nerve racking
• Was starting to show an interest in books. Her favorites are Brown Bear Brown Bear, and Are You a Cow?
• Did not sleep well when teething. Slept so well when not cutting teeth.
• Didn’t mind being out in cold, wet rain and snow. Found it amusing. She went in the backpack in the snow to watch Micah do his ski lesson.
• Began being way more clingy to mom.
• Enjoyed trying to keep up with big brother and his friends.
• Another fever turned cough and cold, which meant sleep was horrible!
• Developed a gremlin shriek/cry mostly at night, but occasionally in the day.
• Stopped wanting squeeze pouch food packs.
• Was not interested in milk from a sippy cup at all anymore.
• Loved music and liked rocking and dancing to the beat.
• had fun celebrating her birthday with family and friends and loved getting time with all three grandparents and her great gramma for a full weekend.
• loved playing at Micah's gymnastics gym for their indoor playground. She loved climbing up and down the large soft mats and bouncing on the small trampolines.
• went to her second Purim carnival and got to play a bit in the baby room, but mostly watched from the front pack.
• loved playing with her buddy Odin again
• loved splashing in the water at the Pacific Science Center, but started to be totally scared of the bath tub!
• enjoyed climbing as many things as possible...especially Micah's chair and the couch with Micah.
• Also really enjoys sitting in Micah's booster seat when it gets brought inside. 
• Took her first 2-3 steps!
• Became way more sturdy and is able to stand up on her own for a while, but had no interest in walking more than a few steps
