Growing Sound Roots

Playing baseball and loving it.
Still enjoying Sunday school (first grade with Mora Jenna and only six other kids).
Enjoys kindergarten and Mrs. Mears.
Sometimes has trouble transitioning and focusing in class, but mostly does just fine.
Way ahead in reading...he can almost read his favorite chapter books like graphic novel Dog Man on his own. Has torn through early readers and Bob books.
He loves writing lists and stories and notes.
He cares about his friends (Owen and Liam at school, Isaac and Timmy).
Plays for hours with neighbor Timmy each weekend (legos, finding treasure digging a deep hole in the side yard, and more).
Still stubborn and picky about food (cheese and bread and some meat plus cereal and sometimes eggs are the bulk of the diet).
He loves his little sister so much and is super helpful and kind.
He still would rather sleep in mom and dads rooms most nights and still likes to snuggle.
Loves to swim, but we need to find better swim instructors.
Had a blast in all of our snow days this year, skiing down the hill around the corner from us, building snow forts and snow men, and sledding.
Has slowed down on LEGO play a bit (maybe because we are over saturated in legos!)

Dealt with tummy bug, fevers, colds, lice, etc.

Still gives me a kissing hand every morning at drop off.

Went through a My Little Pony phase, continued to love Star Wars, now watches Pokemon.
Is such a sweet loving kind smart hard working kid!
