This month Leilah:
- has continued to sharpen her grasp and control. She grabs things on her activity mat and jumperoo and basically anything nearby her.
- rolled over from tummy to back a few more times
- babbled a lot "talking" to us
- had her first ride in the new double stroller big girl style (no infant carseat)
- had sleep regression waking up more frequently throughout the night (every 1-3 hours for a few days in a row, then after 5-6 hours).
- has gotten back on a regular poop train (every other day or so especially when relaxed in the mamaroo).
- celebrated her first fathers day (Phil's first with two kiddos. We went to the Strawberry Festival in Burien and then to Seahurst Park).
- accompanied mom to lots of Stroller Strides and errands.
- saw so many large crowds of people (McMicken 6th grade graduation, Hilltop's last day of school assembly and all school recess, and Micah's preschool graduation from YMCA Adventurer classroom).
- had many bottles of mommy milk from Nana and Papa when they watched her (and Micah part of the week) while Mommy went back to work for GLAD certification one whole week. She was wonderful for them the whole week and didn't seem to need any extra time with Mommy when she got home.
- celebrated her first 4th of July at the West Seattle children's parade.
- enjoyed her new Jumperoo!
- had her last PEPS group meet up at Temple.
- gave Daddy a challenging time, refusing a bottle on two separate occasions (one when Mommy got her hair done and the other when Mommy went on a girls night out at the theater).
- had a whole weekend with just Mommy and Daddy while Micah went to Gramma Susan's house by himself.
- went on a couple family hikes.
- Lots of signs of teething as she tries to put everything in her mouth.
- tried solid food purees and wasn't too interested in them yet. Sweet potato, avocado, and banana so far.
signs of teething! Trying to "eat" everything. |
